Is Rush Limbaugh qualified to be a political advisor to anybody?

It amazes me that people in this day take Rush seriously even while his education is public knowledge. He flunked out of his state college to get into the radio business so that he could end up talking about politics, but this man has neither the education or the experience to back up what he says. I’m not criticizing Rush for his position to talk, I’m just amazed that we can have uneducated people regarded so highly
Bill Gates didn’t need classes because he was a genius. He also got into Harvard !

If he would have finished college he would most likely be a liberal democrat, since that is what most of them teach. Not being a college graduate does not mean your not any smarter or dumber than someone who has.

Anybody who is impressed with their own degree is both ignorant and shallow. A formal education is just one way of becoming knowledgable, and it’s certainly no guarantee of intelligence. As far as what makes him qualified, he has the largest radio audience in America and has held that title for over 20 years. I’d say that he knows something about politics, public opinion and mass media.

When you have the attention of as many as Rush has ( good or bad ) you have to respect the power that comes with it.
Some would say the same about Oprah and her views as well.
